Service Description
Step away from the noise of daily life and immerse yourself in a unique experience where mindfulness, gentle movement, and the profound connection with horses come together. This half-day retreat offers a chance to ground yourself, deepen your sense of presence, and find harmony through yoga, meditation, and horsemanship. What’s Included: -Yoga Practice: Move mindfully through grounding poses designed to release tension, enhance body awareness, and cultivate calm. -Meditation: Drop into stillness with a guided practice focused on presence, breath, and inner connection. - Sound Bath: Let the soothing vibrations of sound wash over you, promoting deep relaxation and energetic balance. - Horsemanship Groundwork: Connect with horses through guided groundwork, learning to communicate with clarity, compassion, and confidence. - Light Snacks: Nourish your body with wholesome snacks and drinks. All equipment provided, including yoga mats, props, and of course, the horses. Open to All: No prior yoga or horse experience is required. This half day retreat is perfect for anyone seeking connection, grounding, and mindfulness. Weather Permitting: The entire day, including yoga practices, will be held outdoors to embrace nature’s grounding energy. In case of unfavorable weather, we have a backup indoor space available for the yoga aspect. Meet Your Facilitators: Emma manages Heathcote Valley Riding School and has spent her life riding and working with horses. She breeds and produces Elite Horses and Ponies, known for their top-level success and deep connection with humans. With experience across Eventing, Showing, Working Equitation, and Top-Level Dressage, she is set to compete at Horse of the Year 2025. Emma has also tamed a wild Kaimanawa stallion, integrating it into the riding school. Her deep knowledge, intuitive horsemanship, and passion for teaching make her an inspiring guide. Jess is a passionate yoga teacher, MMTCP graduate, and lifelong horse lover. She blends yoga and mindfulness with her deep equine connection to create transformative experiences that nurture body and mind. Her grounded and compassionate teaching style supports personal growth through movement, stillness, and self-reflection. Cancellation Policy
I aim to provide the best experience for all participants. To ensure fairness and availability, here is my cancellation policy for in-person community classes: Regular Classes: Cancellation Notice: Cancel at least 24 hours before the class start time. Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are considered late. No-Show Policy: If you do not cancel and do not attend, it is considered a no-show. Refunds and Class Credits Regular Classes: Timely Cancellations: If you cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you will not be charged, and any prepaid fees will be credited towards a future class. Late Cancellations and No-Shows: If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or do not show up, you will forfeit the class fee. No refunds or credits will be issued. Workshops and Special Events: Cancellation Notice: Cancel at least 48 hours before the event start time, you will not be charged, and any prepaid fees will be credited towards a future class. Late Cancellations and No-Shows: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event or no-shows will forfeit the event fee. No refunds or credits will be issued.
